The fact that it has to be said is saddening.

Yesterday on a french sub, a guy asked how to manage his girlfriend angry at him, because at 2 am while he was drunk from the night before, she talked his ear off about inclusive writing (french is a heavily gendered language), and when he told her "I don't care, it's 2 am let me sleep" she called him an incel and an asshole.

So, a lot of people in the comment said that she was out of line and probably a bit toxic.

What got to me is that even those who decried the radical feminism behavior she displayed cited other, more worthy issues facing women.

And everytime, the issue they cited was domestic abuse.

And I'm just astonished even people who think feminism is going too far still consider domestic abuse to be a gendered issue.

Though I have a friend (my best friend in fact) who identifies as an anti-feminist who still have a hard time accepting in his core that men can be abused and raped. Despite himself having been abused and raped. It's so ingrained men can't be victims that even actual victims won't accept the idea...
