Double standard

There is this post on a popular subreddit that is about a wife who is uncomfortable with her husband following his ex on social media and expresses her feelings and concerns, and he continues to follow his ex on social media. I 100% identify with her struggle, but the double standard is incredible. Commenters are talking about him crossing boundaries and how this is a huge red flag etc.

If this situation were reversed, I know people would be commenting that he is digitally abusing her, and he needs to respect her autonomy, and people can have platonic friends.

He is not crossing a boundary. A boundary is when you say, I will not tolerate an action committed against me, see the whole thing with Jonah Hill. What she is doing is controlling, because she is telling him you can’t do this thing, that is an attempt to control another persons actions, NOT a boundary.

Where is the outrage?? This can be so infuriating some times.
