I mean you had some kind frame going on and I mean had because you planned a date, got a girl and in your mind there was no V Day expectations. But no points because your dumbass can't read a calender.

BUT...you blew it and not in the way you think. First you have some level of covert contract there that a girl you JUST met deserved to have some great V Day date. You just met her! She deserves nothing more then your presence. Everything else is up to you and should be equal to what she is providing.

That was her covert contract on expecting something magical that was her responsibility not yours. You aren't responsible for how she feels or why she agreed to go out (odds are she had no options for V Day and didn't want to be the only one his group without a date). This is how I know your frame was just absent minded stupidity. Though remember that feeling because it's what you should be doing. Making dates without things like V Day being there.

Fix it? What's to fix? did you gush about it to her? Tell you are sooo sorry. That you want to make it up to her? If not STFU and just plan the next date. her decision to come or not. If not shrug your shoulders, dry your eyes, and move on to the next girl.

She was interested, got to the date, found out you were boring af and lost interest. You screwed this one right out of the bag. What was the content of your conversation on the date? Did you have any material prepped? Or did you just go in thinking you were going to wing it? Or worse, you went in and thought she was going to lead the convo didn't you?
