Hello everyone,

I have difficulties interpreting the at-a-glane facts and statistics of PASK.

It says that, overall, 22 % of individuals were assaulted at least once in their lifetime and that 23 % were female victims und 19.3 % were male victims.

What do these male and female prevalences indicate exactly? It can't be that 23 % and 19.3 % are proportions of the 22 % because then they would have to add up to 100 %, right?

Also, 22 % cannot be the average of 23 % and 19.3 % because that would be 21,15 %.

How exactly are both percentages supposed to be interpreted?
