Ideally you want high achieving, polite, genuine and happy kids right?

Is the key to discipline them early, and give them freedom in their teens but be very strict in order to keep them on track? Is it to get them in sports or clubs to be social. I am not about to have kids any time soon but I am surprised this topic hasn't been discussed too much anywhere. I would love to see a post hit the front page of TRP about this topic.
