I’ve led myself into a trap. If I think a guy is attractive I’ll tell myself that he won’t ever be interested in me. Because of this belief I’ll make sure he won’t get any signs that I have interest in him past being over friendly maybe slightly flirty. Because of this he won’t want to express too much interest beside maybe him holding a stare or having his friends tell me through the grapevine that he’s interested in me. Because of my belief I feel like this isn’t enough evidence for me to fully express my interest. The guy eventually moves on to a girl who shows she’s interested in him.

How do I fix this? How am I supposed to know if he’s interested if he doesn’t fully express interest first?
