I have no social skills at the moment. I've been getting friendly with some of the girls near me, but they only see me as a beta chump since I'm not a witty person at all.

When trying to pursue a FWB type of relationship, is it possible to just lightly tease them in passing until I work up my social skills and build up my social proof to be able to escalate into a FWB situation, or do I have to do it first thing upon meeting them? What if they reject me?

Help me out here, guys. The dorms are my only chance in my college to build a social life with girls in it. I'm an engineering major and the social clubs are only reserved for international and mature age students. There isn't even a theatre club. I'm not gonna fuck this up. I also can't afford to join a frat.
