General tips: Stay mostly sober. Seriously. A couple of drinks is fine, but this is a great opportunity to look like an idiot and not get any more invites if you get drunk-and-stupid.

Talk to EVERYONE. All the cute girls, of course, but talk to EVERYONE, even if you just say "Hi."

Dance with all the girls you can.

Have an attitude that’s not outcome dependant. Enjoy the party and make memories with your friends and people you don’t know. If you are having a great time people will naturally be attracted to your character, build from there.

I'm currently in college and it's safe to say I've been to a party or two. Here are my number one do and don't.

1) Do go to have fun. That's it. Don't worry about girls, status, or anything. Just ask yourself in the moment what would be fun right now. Get others involved and just socialize. If you do this you won't even have to try. They will come to you.

2) DON'T go to get laid. Girls spot that shit from a mile away and know what you're doing. They want the guy who is having a great time and DGAF about anything but having a great time.
