If a girl rejects you after a date or says things like "let's just be friends" then do you guys still keep in touch

I see two divided groups down here

1) cut contact move on - she might or might not come back 2) Be her friend and use her to meet other women , if she sees you with other women she might come back

What would the most beneficial way be for a man (assuming he is not overly invested)

People say don't burn any bridges that you don't have to

What has worked for you guys? Guys who have tried both things how did it turn out for you guys , would you say one is better than the other

I normally cut contact and move on
