Ive always been terrible with girls and don’t know how to treat them in relationships.

I always do cringey lovey things to try and please them in a relationship, which I realize by now doesn’t work

My dads always been terribly shy with girls and never taught me anything regarding the opposite sex, nor my mom obviously.

Is it bad to be too nice to a girl wether you just met or are dating?

Why is this?

What is the proper way to treat them?

I was obsessed with my gf in my last relationship, super jealous and possessive and when we broke up it was definitely pretty rough. I don’t want this to happen again in the future. I’m not sure was it the girl or was it because I shouldn’t be too invested in a girl
