The key to picking up at the club, for me at least, is to talk to girls at the bar and then move to the dance floor together. Trying to dance up on random girls probably won't net much success because it can be seen as an aggressive approach. Or get bottle service. Nothing is more attractive than money. Money even beats being the 6'4" guy you describe. I know some hideous fuckers who pull some of the best looking girls just because they have money. I'm talking feral ghoul and troll looking dudes.

In my experience these guys just get used for the table and drinks.
