Cultivate other options. Live your best life. Stop chasing her. If you happen to see her, you can still say hi, politely but in a slightly bored way. She has to re-engage with you. If she doesn’t, there’s your answer.

If she does re-engage, no more declarations of love. Give her 2/3 of whatever she gives you. When you finally “ask her out” you don’t ask her out. You offer her an opportunity. ”I’m going to be going to X, if you want to join.”

Don’t try to take it from platonic to man to woman with overt words. Never again ask her if the two of you can be a thing. Do it with your vibe. Run some old school low level kino game on her, if she seems half way open to it. If she says something funny, high five her. Touch her forearm to make a point while telling a story. Lean in close to her ear to tell her something “secret”. Etc. This is a gradually escalating process.

Mentally anticipate that she might go hot and cold on you, since she’s pulled that shit before. If you detect that coming, do a preemptive freeze-out. YOU suddenly pullback or end things. Like “shoot, I gotta go. I’ve got this thing I’m supposed to be at, it’s going to take me an hour to get there. Sorry! It’s been fun. We should do it again sometime.” Or “sorry I just got this text. I’ve got to make this call.” The key with this is that it NOT SEEM BUTTHURT AND REACTIVE. Think through in advance some ways you can end it for the evening or put her on pause that would seem congruent with the realities of your life.

Any time she goes cold, you don‘t chase. The seduction stops the second she goes cold and does not resume unless and until she warms up again.
