No canned routines will make you a cool guy, because a cool guy is able to spontaneously react to situations. You can't know, what concrete situations, happenings and moods of other people will await you there. Prepared stuff would just get you into your head and make things worse. Do the following instead: Find a way to make sure that you are in social and open state when you get there. Do something like the following things before your shift starts: Small talk with strangers, meeting with friends, that get you in a funny mood, avoiding things that get you in the wrong mood.
