French kissing should not be all slobber unless it's some drunk French kissing going on. I initiate by simply kissing and then with my tongue touching their lips. You don't know if they're into French kissing or even want to. So it's best to touch their lips with your tongue while kissing. Don't just go shoving your tongue in. If they want to then you'll feel their lips part. As for the kissing, you shouldn't be eating their face/chin. Keep it controlled to the lip area only.
