This is something that happened to me over the weekend but here we go.. I moved to Georgia about eight months ago and I’ve made it into a semi-regular habit to go out to bars on the weekend and I’ve gotten to know most of the regulars. I have an extremely hard time talking to the opposite sex through a cold approach, but I can talk if met through mutual friends. Well anyways, when I was talking to a couple about a month ago good conversation these two girls come up to me and start talking and since then I’ve been kinda hanging out with them every other weekend at the bar. One of them more than the others, she’s really flirty always tells me I should have taken her out am I pretty and touching me all over and all that shit, and eventually after talking to her I ended up becoming interested in her. I told a friend of mine that I was kinda interested in her and he went and ran his mouth saying that he knows someone who has a crush on you but he didn’t say who. First mistake trusting him. So she asked me if I knew and I played it off saying I’m not in middle school to try and steer the conversation elsewhere. At the end of the night, I figured fuck it and I told her I’m interested to take her out sometime, and she seemed receptive she was like you have my number so give me a call sometime and kissed me on the cheek. So I thought maybe she might be interested, just maybe. Next day I texted her asking when she might be free for the upcoming week and she responded saying I’m not sure I’ll let you know. It’s been really eating at me because I could understand if she said no or didn’t kiss me but if she didn’t like me why did she do that? I haven’t responded to that message but honestly even if she doesn’t I think I can show my face there again. If I run into her I think it’ll be hard for me to not show my discomfort. I know it sounds hella lame believe me I know it is but this kind of shit makes me not even want to deal with other women again. Has anyone else been in a situation like this before? Any advice? It seems like I get strike out after strike out it’s wearing me down
