I got a girls number at a house party on the weekend by reciting some limericks and discussing literature. She was a English literature student and was really hypnotized when I revealed that I've read a fair amount of the classics and it was unlike any other pick up attempt I've done, plus I think she was especially taken because I look like a stupid meathead. It reminded me that I'm much better at verbal game, and yet at clubs, bars and most social events this is reduced to shallow conversations shouted in their ear, whilst guys who are only about the physical game come along and sweep them up.

The last time I went to a public library I felt like a slimy opportunist, everyone was reading quietly believe it or not.

I guess I can try to filter these sorts of girls on dating apps, but it's not the same as meeting organically.
