Never argue or negotiate. Simply state calmly and confidently ehat exactly you would like to happen and expect and if they can't respect that then you give them the silent treatment until they come to you calmly and in a rational mindset.

You can't be afraid to leave and act like you don't care or they will use your attachment to her against you.
