Is prom worth it?

What are you thinking would not make it worth it? Money? Time? I remember in high school the biggest thing anyone worried about was having a date and who it was. Several years out of high school the date didn't matter but I still remember having an awesome night with my friends. I would say these other 2 proms are less worth it (assuming you don't have friends that will be there).

There are far easier, cheaper, more straightforward ways of getting laid.

Let's face it, that's the real reason most of the guys are there. They want to impress the girl they're orbiting, because they think if they prove themselves hard enough they'll get laid.
