You get over it by the process of exposure therapy. Put yourself in uncomfortable situations under your own volition. If you've never flirted with a girl before chances are you're not going to be good at it. You're gonna say and do stupid stuff and that's ok.

You should practice approaching girls when you're alone to build up skill. Eventually you'll reach a point to where it doesn't matter who is watching or where it's at. You will just approach/flirt naturally as it will be a part of who you are.
