This is a thought that came to my head this evening. It’s widely known here that men chase sex while women chase commitment. That’s why TRP also encourages only pursuing exclusivity (LTRs) if the woman brings brings up the idea first.
Now on the topic of marriage. In this community it’s a pretty even 50/50 split of people who are still intent on going through with marriage at some point and people who won’t touch it with a ten foot rod.
Funny thing is, for that 50% that still will do it, the advice in the first paragraph is thrown out the window, replaced with a blue pill idea of the man pursuing a more exclusive relationship over the woman, or put otherwise, proposing. Could the idea of the man pursuing this commitment over the woman be a contributor to many marriages being unsustainable? What would you think about it becoming more acceptable for the woman to propose?
Just a thought I had, cheers.
