I recently approached two women in and got both of their names before complimenting one for her style. She said it made her day. I got her number and after texting for a couple of days, we realised we wouldn't be compatible (I'm polyamorous) but I still felt really good about having a constructive and value adding interaction with someone. It's been a huge motivator for me to keep complimenting people to help them feel good, rather than having conversations with a goal in mind. This post just made me think of this
