So I’ve come across a scenario in which I was in a small text conversation with a new girl I just met. I have brought up the idea of going out sometime but have not set anything definite because of difficulties in both of our schedules (won’t be until 2 weeks later. Oh well, life happens). Anyway, I sent a text that honestly didn’t really deserve a response (it was more of a general statement) and she hasn’t opened or replied to my text in over a day. I’m obviously going to go out with other girls until that time comes but if I still haven’t heard from her and still want to go out with her, would it be ok to send a low investment ping text and gauge her interest a little and go for setting up a date?
