I dated/hung out/hooked up with a girl, hb8, for a few months. She got busy and I got needy and she said “it may be better and easier as friends” after I told her I liked her. I said okay and thought this was a way of breaking it off with me.

Didn’t text her for a week and she started texting me again. Told her I was busy after texting for a while and I’d contact her when I had some time. She didn’t wait and texted me a week after that.

I never made a move because life is black and white in my mind, I’m an engineer, but the more I think about it, maybe she was trying to hang out? I haven’t heard from her in 3 weeks now. Was this all a big shit test? Is she testing me now to see if I’ll cave and be needy again?

Obviously the solution is to next and talk to other women but what’s the proper way to deal with this type of response in the future?

Haven’t heard from her in 3 weeks and since I posted this I get another: “hey, how are you doing?”
