So recently I have been approaching talking to as many people as I can and talking about anything and everything and just approaching cause someone is interesting. I find it naturally easier to talk to boys/men then girls but i do my best.

My question: 1. I was in town and we have this new library that's opened it's a less library and more a social place as I realised today. I hadn't been to it ever and my mate said it's awesome check it out. We went in and it's insane... It's full of people and mostly my age girls and first year uni students drinking, chatting some doing work and so on... you get it. My question is walking around due to my new trp knowledge I hold myself higher and walk with confidence and pride, see I'm not shy but for the first time I was overwhelmed because I saw so many girls looking at me. I have read sidebar and still do. There were 3 girls sitting in a group and this HB8 caught my eye as I was about to leave and held a solid eye contact, even did this weird thing where she looked away for half a second and then matched my gaze( checking that I'm looking at her) she even blanker her mate at the table and just eyed me. and long story short I choked. I even broke gaze and couldn't approach at all. I can normally do it fine but I just though is it awkward to just change my direction and walk straight for the girls table? (they had 2 spare seats). What would I say? Is saying "Hey just saw you guys and though you looked interesting, Mind If I take a seat?. I can approach solo girls fine, I do need to improve but I can do it and be spontaneous. but in a public space with a group? I don't know how'd I'd start. Once started I can carry on fine just how to engage?. reading Sidebar I know I have to win her friends, I think I'm ok with that and number closing, I'm fine singling her out and asking for it at end of convo but approach out of nowhere in public I just can't get my mind around it.

TLDR : How to engage and initiate a conversation with a girls group in public. Thanks
