It's not just women wise.
If, as an outsider, I sit down and look at some situation, I can often figure it out very well. I'll basically automatically think of the ways it can turn out, hypothesis, and look into falsifying them, then come out with new ones if I must.
When it happens to me, I just suck and go full instinct, and it often turns out wrong.

Any hints or tricks to prevent it?
