Hi guys. I’m a 21 year old male, and this is something that I get really embarrassed asking for advice to my friends because I sound ridiculously egoistic and arrogant, hence I’m asking behind the keyboards.

The question is, I encounter many situations where girls seem to be “showing me interest”. I always try and tell myself “shut up, you’re just in your own fantasy. No one cares about you” but I just can’t seem to ignore my automatic, intuitive gut feelings.

For example, at work, one of my coworkers keeps lurking around me, I see her walking by where I sit unnecessarily closely (like there’s so much space to walk by in the corridor but she intentionally walks near where I sit and her gown touches my body) and back and forth multiple times. I sensed her avoiding eye contact during our conversation, choking on water when I came into the room, etc. And it seems that everywhere I go, she then seems to be in the field of my vision. I tried to rationalise the situation by thinking it was just all mere coincidence.

Another example, at the gym is where it happens so frequently and it's driving me crazy! One clear example is what happened just yesterday. I was doing my own upper body exercises - I knew this other girl was downstairs (our gym has 2 floors) working on her legs because I saw her doing squats etc when I went down to put my bag. But a couple minutes later, I see her come up and pick the lat pulldown machine directly next to me and starts doing that. Soon after, I finish what I was doing and I go to the benches to do some curls. Not even after 5 minutes had past, she comes around to the benches, and there were about 3-4 benches empty from where I was sitting, but she comes to the one directly next to me and starts doing shoulder workouts.

Situations like these, I encounter and believe me - I always always always say to myself 'omg stop assuming this. You're not as attractive as you think. It's not what you think it is' but I just dont know... do my predictions have any level of validity or have I just been living in my own fantasies? Please help me, it's driving me absolutely crazy....
