Okay so my entire MO for number exchange is opening contacts and then making it so that they just have to put in their name and number. I've done that for as long as I've wanted. Yesterday afternoon, I picked up this chick who's a little aggressive but nice and thick but right after she saved her number she opened my messages and sent herself a text to get my number. This nearly gave me a heart attack because she might have seen all my other texts which are obviously private in nature. Now I'm paranoid of picking up some psycho chick and then she just suddenly read alls my messages and freaking out then getting me all cancelled and shit for being a fuck boy.

Now I've started to switch to a new method where I ask for the girl's phone and I input I text myself her number. Just earlier, I picked up this super pretty blonde cheerleader on campus and tried this method and it was a little awkward since I had to see her get one text after another, had to swipe them all off to finish texting myself and it made it the interaction stall and killed the convo momentum for a bit.

What's your preferred method? What's the easiest/most efficient method for doing the number exchange?
