I am currently getting new hobbies and improving my dedication on old ones, trying to make my life more fulfilling, but one of my school days female friend began to criticize every single one of them. For example, every time I talked about my progress, or about one of them, she made comments like: "You look ridiculous trying to dance", "You will never learn that", "You should stop lying to yourself, you will never get fit". When I got a new motorcycle, she never said anything positive, despite my happines, all she said was "You will kill yourself" and a few other negative comments about me. I held my frame interpretanting that these were shit-tests.
Last night, we went out with our group of friends, she got drunk. I was talking with her while we were dancing, and I jokingly put an ice cube on the back of her neck, she reacted throwing her drink on my chest and punching me. My only two reactions were saying goodbye to my friends and getting out of the club. When I got home, I blocked all means of communication with her.
Was ending contact with her the right decision, or was a sign of weakness? How should I behave when seeing her again when going out with our mutual friends? Should have I cut her out when she started her depreciativr comments spree? Sorry about my grammatical mistakes, english is not my first language.
