I don’t know if this is actually a good conversation starter or not by community standards, but this is what I do. I go up and ask them a question and say it with’sorry to bother you’ so you don’t look needy. Then just bounce on what they say and pivot it to something fun. Usually ‘I’m new here what’s a good club nearby’ or something. Did it last week and smashed a girl

I think starting off apologizing is weak and hurts your first impression. Your mindset should be that by you engaging in the conversation you will make their day better, not bother them.

I have considered that too. But what I think is it’s in the rector the approach because 5 mins in, If you have played it right, they have all but forgotten what the opener was. I’m sharp and australian, am funny and I can bounce of what is thrown at me. This might be the key. But… I think If your game is good the opener just needs to be an ice breaker. Curious on your thoughts? I’m by no means pretending to be an expert. But I am someone girls have propositioned for a fuck within an hour.
