I was seeing someone and it went really well. She’s now got back with I think an ex whilst she was away who is in a different country to her and I. She says she can’t see me romantically right now. She’s saying she’s confused and unsure.

She says she will call me later when she’s free.

I am trying to think logically about it. I am thinking it won’t work out with those 2 and I want to be there in the future.

Can I please have ideas of what you would do? I understand after today I need to just wait and hope but today what do I say to her. Can I ask her about it or is that just friend zoning myself? Do girls get back in touch with semi exes to see if the sparks there. Or am I going to have to probe in the future? Do I confirm if it’s an ex or if she’s found someone completely new (which is much worse).

I am seeing other people I understand I should continue to. But I’d like to know what to do in this case. I’m so tired of this happening
