I have struggled this for a long time. The conversation never lasts more than 2-3 minutes. I would open up with a girl(s) and the first minute would be really nice and engaging. After that even though I have things to talk about and can carry a conversation, it's just like the girl gets bored or something, she starts ignoring me, tells me it was nice meeting you, or her friend pulls her away.

Once in a while it may extend beyond that, but then I start to feel we can't keep talking forever and I need to start putting efforts towards pulling her for a hookup. I don't know what I can tell her to take her home - which is my goal. Can I ask her to smoke with me at the end of the night? Or just ask her for a movie, food, more drinks at my place?
