Okay guys, I'm not practicing my game much and I'm not even interested in hookups, but this time I decided to step out just a little bit of my comfort zone and practice talking to strangers. I was sitting on a bus heading to the city and we got stuck in a traffic jam. I sat next to a girl only a few years younger than me and she seemed to be a bit worried about the delay. I took off my headphones and casually started talking to her if she's in a hurry. We started talking about her upcoming flight which she has tonight and just somehow kept the coversation going.

I wasn't interested in making any moves, my only target was to keep up a friendly chat with a stranger. She laughed quite often despite me not trying to be funny at all, she also kept good eye contact. We still had like 30 minutes of our way ahead, so I talked. Talked about random shit, not very interesting, only very little attempts of flirting, if any. Later, when we transfered to subway, she started talking about her current unsuccessful distant relationship which is about to end and later she asked me to exchange numbers. Although I wasn't very interested, we exchanged numbers and it was officially my first successful cold approach.

What did I learn? When I actually don't give a fuck and I'm being myself, I can be successful. The only thing needed is to stay cool and don't care too much.
