Decided to venture out a bit on the weekend. Went to a nearby busy city and walked around for hours. I missed a few good opportunities but I told myself I'm not allowed going home until I ask at least one girl out. I kept walking, legs started to get sore. I see two girls across the street who both looked good, but approaching girls in groups is always more intimidating for me, so I kept making excuses in my head that I couldn't do it. But then, I saw them hugging each other and it seemed they were parting ways. I thought to myself that this must be a calling! It's my chance! The girl crossed the street and I stood by a tree pretending to be busy on my phone. We made a split second fo eye contact as sge walked by.

This was the decisive moment. I would either follow her and ask her out, or bitch out. But I didn't want to bitch out like I had been for the rest of the day, so I began following her. A minute later I catch up to her and I see her turn to the side and it seemed like she was about to enter a building, but she started dialing some numbers on a keypad and it seemed that she was entering her apartment. Sounds creepy of me to follow her to her place, but I said fuck it. I walked up to her and said hey. She gets startled and I think to myself "great fucking start buddy" then I told her she was cute and that I'd love to take her out. She replied uncomfortably "uhhhmm I would.. not like that". I chuckled a bit and admired her honesty and how she didn't use the boyfriend excuse then wished her a good day.

Even though I got rejected, I felt reeeally good after. Definitely got an adrenaline rush. As for next time, I know need to work on my tone. I could tell as I was speaking, my voice wasn't as powerful and confident as it is when I talk to my friends or family. It wasn't horrible, but also wasn't amazing. If there are any other tips you guys think I could use, please share them. Thanks.
