alright guys . 21M. To begin... i advocate for '' throwing yourself under the bus ''.

There we were my two friends and I discussing business topics sitting at this restaurant and combined Hall IN Mogadishu and our goal was to evaluate our current money making strategies.

Girls were walking out of the wedding hall left right and center. Every 2 min or so one would go by us. I couldn't just get up and pull on over, because they were going some where hence not stationery. But as they walked past we'd lock eye contacts. I felt absolutely pathetic. I know they loved the sensation of being given attention as a result boosting their self image and worth,(like who won't want some to tell them that, their looking bangging indirectly. I'll welcome indirect compliments any day.) but i was like to myself ''man if your not gonna talk to them might as well not look at them''. Staring and Not taking action is the worst thing you can do , that's what 99% of the male population does , SO QUIT LOOKING'' i told my self.

Action is what separates failures and winners in any aspect of life.

2 seconds later I was back at my game. I mean looking at attractive women is just like, drinking water when your thirsty, its hard to resist.

Soon my friends decided to move from the venue and go to a starbucks like restaurant across the steet. We upstairs now . I observe the surroundings and there's a few empty tables , like 3 couples , a group of 3 girls sitting on a table for 4 , and a girl sitting by herself. Oh don't forget the individual males sitting at a table by themselves, they were like 3. Yeah!!!! these types are ever present.

After ordering food , '' Im off to the highway, so i can throw my self under the bus '' i say to my friends implying that im going to go and chat up some girls since we finished our meeting.

do you know them? they questioned. Nope i replied.

I went over to the back of the room and sat next to the table besides next to the 3 girls. As im summoning up the courage and contemplating what to say, a friend of theirs rolls up. A male friend and accompanies the vacant chair i was planning to sit on and ruins the whole plan.

The Improvise, Adapt, overcome !!!! mindset strikes me. ''Lets change course Sir'' i say to myself.

I direct my attention else where. The one girl who was by herself was now on the phoning directing someone to the restaurant we were at.

''Plz don't be a guy , Plz don't be a guy'' , i was saying under my breath. Her friend rolls up and luckily , it was a female. All this occurred in a span of around 3 minutes.

The self holding beliefs kicked in. Let them talk first, let them catch up with each other, damn she should've sat next to her friend, not across her,,,,,, Damn i wish i finished eating my chicken legs from may 23 2016. Random arbitrary thoughts came to mind.

''Ain't shit gonna stop me'' i tell myself and get up. Your mind will hold you back from doing anything out of your comfort zone and if you allow it you'll life a boring life. So you gotta tell it to f off when its preventing you from throwing your self out of your comfort zone.

I simply got up walked over to them , said '' anybody sitting here, '' .... '' mind if i sit '' and sat whilst saying those words.

We greeted each other, then i got straight down To Business.

i was like im kinda bored thats why i popped over here, do you guys wanna play a game.

they were like whats the game. I was like i got three games and sticked 3 fingers out and was like choose a finger. only had 2 games tho ..... Lolllll.

They randomly choose my ring finger. Most likely due to the fact that they see me as Husband Material. :) :)

I was then like, oh this finger is the alphabet country game. ''We start at the letter A. Say countries that begin with the letter A and then if someone hesitates to say a countries name, their out.

As with most things in life if you initiate things, they either turn out crap or they turn out great. Overthinking Kills the potential tho. So just throw yourself under the bus. Anyway this game came to my mind as i was sitting with my friends whilst discussing over an issue and it just jottled my memory and i came up with this game which i haven't played in like 4 years thanks to their little debate . That's the reason why i decided to go over and have fun with some girls.

Anyway as i was explaining the game to them, a phone of theirs rang and through mishearing, she got off the phone and was like countries that start with A or Words that start with A.

I was like lets play with words that begin with A. Cause i could tell they didn't know shit about the world map cause they were slightly slow, when i was giving them an example.

Anyways the games begins, we start saying random shit in turns that begin with ''A'' in Somali language until someone took like 10 seconds to come up with a word. Then we progressed.

After a while i changed the game and told em now were going to play The yes or NO game. I ask random questions they have to reply with proper responses whilst refraining from the use of the words : (YES, YEAH ,NO NAH.)

EG. what ur name. whats your favorite food. How about sushi? do you hate shushi ? .....(expecting a yes or no) etc. you get the point. This game was intense and drama filled .

Anyways the games sparked laughter joy and excitement. I knew that girls hate the same mundane convo that 99% of guys initiate , so i spiced it up and kept the convo to like 15% and the games to 85%. I hate boredom myself, so i understand where they are coming from.

Even though I wasn't attracted to neither one of them i just had fun with them and built my confidence. And this is taking place In Somalia. Where this shit isn't as easy as it is in the States , Europe or Australia.

TAKE AWAY FROM THIS STORY

A) * Throw your self under the bus and Display 20 SECONDS OF COURAGE and the rest will go well. or it'll be a learning experience. Either way even if they tell you to f off , you have to acknowledge that you threw your self out of your comfort zone. And in a couple of hours you'll thank yourself for doing it.

B) * Be Fun to be around with. Initiate little challenges , games (yes no game, the alphabet game). and put yourself out there. and experience life outside of your phone. Its much more fun and spontaneous. If you have other games or fun shit .share it in the comment section.

part one finishes here. Part 2 of this story kinda went south and was a learning experience. If you want to here it Drop COMMENTS BELOW.....
