In my oppinion, the first mistake you can make is to think a lot about it, you know. When you meet someone don't think what are you going to say right away, just let it go with the flow. I personally like to ask people about themselves first and if we have any simular interests i'll talk about it a bit longer, to build some sort of conection. Point here is not to pressure yourself too much, just stay as relaxed as u can.

As far as implementing humour, make some jokes on your own expense first, than tease people a bit when you find something they said funny. For sexual topics i can't give u exact advice, but i'm sure that you will feel when it's right moment.

this really isn't a question about dating?

friendship first dating is a bad idea because women will become invested in the friendship and won't want to date you because they will lose the benefits of the friendship

as far as having a basic conversation just try and fail
