So I (18M) work with my manager (24F) quite a lot. We've worked together almost every day for 3 years. We banter each other at work and are able to joke around with each other. We've also told each other our fair share of personal events that happened in our lives. However I am not too confident on asking her out, I was recently told that her and her boyfriend broke up recently. But I don't know if she's available or even wants to start dating yet, I've been told that they were together for almost 9 years. Plus she gets annoyed when customer's flirt with her and I don't just want to be another dude to the pile. I kinda just feel like she's too good for me sometimes. I wanna just ask her already and get it over with but me, her and her ex all work at the same place and I don't want any trouble with anyone. I don't know whether I should ask her or just keep it to myself.
