I always thought this was a funny little coincidence I’ve found over the years. Growing up it was always kinda led that young people don’t really listen to music like opera and think it’s nerdy or whatever or just dorks listen to it. Now some people will dispute that but from my experience it is. Now I have always liked opera, been to watch classical live, it’s just a genre I like, but I’m not by conventional standards someone who looks like they’re into that. Also I’m lucky enough to be a pretty attractive guy and dating isn’t the hard things thats for sure.

Where’s this all leading? Girls don’t expect me to be into opera. I don’t have the look for it. But I like opera. And when you’re in those good long conversations just you two where you’re just back snd forth sharing stories having a good flow and sometimes music comes up, I once hesitated to share something of opera. Why? Because I was like everyone afraid of judgement, but I realised it’s something unique about me, I decided to always share this when talking about music because I’m always surprised the amount of girls who often say they enjoy it and would be happy to listen to a little bit of it.

Just a random story that is a real world example of when being yourself pays off.
