I’m lucky, in person I get almost no nerves before a date and usually quite excited (I don’t go on many dates though), no awkward silences and to be fair I’ve never really had a bad date, all have been fairly fun.

However texting is a different story.. I cannot keep a girl interested for the life of me, I get told tips and lots of good tips might I add that just don’t work, I can’t use the excuse of me being ugly because I’m often told I’m quite handsome.

I get told to be patient if they don’t text back, if I do that then 99% they never follow up. I get told to use texting only as a way to organise the next date, but whenever I ask to meet, whether it be coffee, dinner, or something putt-putt I always get the classic “yeah I’ll let you know when I’m free” and next thing I know I’ve been speaking to them on text for 3 weeks with no date even insight. I sometimes can manage to get a girls number and we’ll have fun conversation but it’s like as soon as the next day comes up they forget who I am, I’ve lost count the the amount of times I’ve had good flowing convo and then never heard from them again after they went to sleep.

I want to know how to stand out during text so that they will remember me and not forget about me/get lost in with the other 1473 guys texting her, and how to make her interested in the idea of meeting up with me? I show a fair amount of confidence in person but it’s hard to display confidence through texting
