Okay so I’ve been at a band camp and for the last week daily talking and flirting with this girl and we have been generally having fun, her roommate does the annoying friend thing where she hits the girl when she thinks I’m not looking, so I have the girls number and was walking with her going to seen about doing something after camp then it dawns on me, I have no idea if she has a boyfriend… so I ask.. blatantly… and she says yes. So I’m like fuck and then I send her a text explaining what else I had to say (I was late to rehearsal and a counselor had just saw me, forgot to check the time cause we were talking.) and I told her that I wasn’t planning to ask her out, I just had to know whether she had a boyfriend or not before we left camp. Then later she comes up to me puts her hands on both my shoulders so we are face to face and says “You cannot make this awkward and weird with me! If I didn’t have a boyfriend I would’ve asked you out.” And well this line confuses the shit out of me please help. I’m 15 she’s 17 and I generally act and seem a lot older than I am. She’s not an awkward person at all and definitely not one who would lie but why would she flirt with me if she had a boyfriend. Not sure if this is the correct sub for this please.point me in the right direction if not
