So I've been a fan of the simplicity of Mr. Locario's game which asserts that going direct is the preferred approach. I've tried this for plenty of approaches and have gotten several contacts but little follow up. As much as I like the honesty, straight forwardness of the direct approach, I think indirect is more effective. Direct approach is too much too soon I think, and while it might work for some, in general I think it's not accomplishing desired results for me. I know this is a classic debate but I'd like to hear your thoughts and experiences in particular on this subject.
