Well, your romance goals from what I can tell seem irrational for pursuing your own happiness in the long term. You sound desperate for sex and the attention of the other sex when it’s better for happiness over the long run to be focused on using your own reason to determine and be the sort of man you want to be and also to determine and pursue the sort of woman that’s worthy of you and that you’re worthy of. Whether another guy is successful with a woman you’re currently interested in is essentially irrelevant to your happiness in the long term, even in dating never mind the more important areas of your life. Either she wasn’t good enough for you, in which case you find someone better for yourself, or you weren’t good enough for her, in which case you improve yourself and find someone better for yourself. I think you’re also somewhat judging yourself by comparing yourself to others when it’s better for pursuing happiness to use reason to determine how you should judge yourself, what sort of goals or progress are reasonable for you. Also, you build real self confidence through first hand experience, so it’s not surprising you don’t have confidence that you’re sexually attractive to the sort of woman that are worthy of you yet.

Accept that you're not where you want to be, work on yourself
Don't snoop on other guys that are talking to the same girl
Don't ask about her past lovers

You will gain confidence by making progress. Even baby steps are progress, do what you can.
