Had an amazing date with a girl, she kept saying how much she loved it and how we're so compatible and similar but she needs space. What do I do?

Do exactly as she says. Give her space. Don't come off as "I need you". If she sees you give her space, it makes you look better because it shows you're interested, but still have your own life.

EDIT: I remember vividly taking a girl out. Things were great for weeks. Out the blue, she sends me a text saying she didn't want to do it anymore. I literally texted back, "Alright." She came back and apologized that night. But don't let your guard down. This could also be viewed as a red flag.

In the meantime, cultivate a sense of abundance by building a really interesting and fulfilling life you could enjoy and be happy with even with no girlfriend at all. Also cultivate abundance by asking out lots of girls and going on dates with them.

If you want to send her a photo of you took while hiking in the woods or at the opera or whatever and say- thought you’d find this interesting. See. She takes the offer to talk. If she doesn’t, it wasn’t meant to be.

Seems to me like she’s love bombing you, and giving you the old “let you down easy with some excuse”.

Something is up with her I think. Some woman could possibly tell us the hidden message here.

You probably smothered her in one shape or form, or at least she felt smothered.

Give her space and wait till she gets in touch and ask her out.

Do not get in touch with her, I repeat, do not get in touch with her until she does.

Send her flowers. Do some random acts of kindness for her. Not all at once. Randomly. Once a week, every few days. Every 2 weeks.

Invite her out to do things that don't require her undivided attention.

Be her friend. Give her diversions. Be genuinely interested in her welfare. Even, and especially as though you will be content just being friends.

Friendship is the strong foundation of every successful relationship.

Just give her the space, but you can ask her if it’s ok to text her once in a while? If yes, text her once every month, very scanty message. Also make the text message about you not her Eg Hey, had a great dinner with my friends today on my way home to get some rest.
