You shouldn't be worried because it's only a second date, so whatever. You should on the other hand bebworried because she's going out with you and not apreaciating you well. And man that's such a waste of your time...

And if your buddy was hitting on her then he's actually the part I personally would be the most worried about. If you're with the girl and he's hitting on her in front of you then that's pretty weird/disrespectful.

The way you put it yeah It does seem there is chemistry and attraction there. But honestly of you're worried talk to your girl and If you still feel like something can happen between them then that could be a red flag that you need to consider rather or not its a deal breaker before you get into a committed relationship with this person
