Dude what the...I don't even know how to help you with this one, seriously. I usually don't reply in a manner, like go read sidebar or some other BS surface answer but holy shit man.

1) Just because she said she has plans with colleagues doesn't mean that you should take so personally as to ask random strangers on internet if you should "let this go". Let what go? That she is a person of her own and occasionally your plans may not align? Really? If you have such mindset I would recommend you invest some money into silicone sex doll.

2) Dude if she can't meet you and your plans got canceled, go do your own thing. Go to a bar, flirt with random girls, dance, have fun, live your life. Or hit the gym for one extra workout. Or stay at home and read a book or study something.

I really don't want to come of as condescending but I have no other word but pathetic that comes to mind after reading this post.

She shouldn't drop everything to come see you! That's her choice, if sh3 doesn't then go be busy somewhere. You cannot expect that from her.
