I got it the first time from a close friend of mine. Awkward. In fact, the reason I am even on seddit is because getting it in 2009 decimated me on many levels - self-worth, self-esteem, etc. I had been a "natural" up to that point, but took a year off from relationships, and nearly two from sex. I needed rehab (instead got super trained).

Well I got them again. Bad luck? Yes. Irresponsibility? Yes. Same strain recurring? NO. That's the sad part... that's the bad luck... There must be more of us out there. These things ignore condoms. They just show up.

Anyhow, I just had an episode where I broke down in agony over this, but came out of it ready to kick ass. I decided that I will not repeat my mistake of turning into a sexual hermit, and instead am going to meet more girls. I just need to be open about my situation.

The virus is usually undetectable after between 1.5 - 3 years. So in the meantime, any advice on how to deal with this in new relationships?

FYI - HPV is the most common STI. Prevalence in young adults is 56%. I know multiple people who had warts, and MANY people who have come in contact with other types of HPV.

TL;DR I have warts for the second time. Very common. It ruined my sex life one before, not letting it happen again. How do I continue to game?
