Look for people that look like they are having a lot of fun and talk to them. Those types of people will be much more willing to have a conversation and will be more fun to talk to in general.

This is why I rarely approach someone who is alone because they are probably alone for a reason.

The only time I ever got told to fuck off was one time years ago when I was way too drunk and acting stupid. It helps to be good looking if you want to avoid fuck off responses.

You may be just too strong, walking right up and saying "hello" and not using social distance (3 feet) so you intrude on her space and freak her out.

It happened to me a few times recently from walking up and saying hello.

I always look for girls who are alone because groups can be intimidating, but now that I've thought about it what you said it explains a lot.

Couple things here:

Right off the top, you're committing a foul by opening someone verbally in a venue that's dedicated to dancing and listening to loud music. People are not there to have a nice verbal conversation. They are there to have fun dancing, etc. Walking up and trying to have a normal conversation is like going to a LAN party without a computer of your own and compounding the matter by trying to hold a conversation with people who are in the middle of a match.
What you need to do is get into the same groove as everyone else. Acclimate to the place. Join the fun. Stop trying to look for people on the outskirts of the fun.
As someone said, going for girls who are alone is a mistake, but not just because those girls might be in a bad mood, but because it really is creepy to go around trying to find girls who are alone. I've done a lot of time in clubs and girls notice that shit. If you're not joining the fun and all you do is stand or sit off to the side and then go try to talk to girls who are alone, they will notice you. And that will add to the number of girls who react negatively to you; they'll see you with other girls and that will prim them to reject you when you get to them.
This way can too easily come off as if you can't have fun and so you can't offer it, but rather, it will seem that you're trying to leech the fun off of them.

I couldnt care less and normally try make a joke out of it or just walk was cause who wants to talk to someone like that.

It's good that you're not letting it rattle you, but the fact that they're reacting that badly, right off the bat, speaks to some issue in your approach. Probably something you could fix by simply joining the fun at the club instead of trying to pick people off around the edges of the fun.

But I just wanted to ask does thing happen much to people and if so how do you normally deal with it.

Im not talking about if you get in arguments or anything like that. Im talking about you approach with a general opener, joke or just straight up say hello and they shout fuck off in your face.

Again, I have never had this happen. But then, my approach is different from yours:

I join the fun, so when I bother to talk to people, it has the same fun energy that the rest of the place does. You can't have that if you're trying to get at girls who are alone on the edges.
I usually don't start interactions verbally; the place is too loud for that. Non-verbal interactions and openers, are king in the club.
