currently in my final year of university and to finish off my degree I must finish off this fairly major unit, which has a group project that is worth 60% of the overall unit. At the end of the project each member must evaluate the other members and give them a rating of how much of the project each member has contributed. Example: if there are 5 members is a group, each member gets a 20/100 mark if they’ve all contributed equally; the teacher will use these evaluations and assign an individual mark out of 60 (60 is the maximum project mark).

the problem is that the group is dominated by girls and they are pretty combative and defensive with regards to hearing other, male, member’s ideas/ or constructive criticism or suggestions. And even bigger problem is that the girls have decided that they just hate me without a reason and that’s that; but the worst part is they shut down any and all ideas I chip in. and also the other male members rarely say anything or come to aid. I’d change groups if I could but I can’t at this stage.

I’m worried that the girl will carry on this hatred when they’re evaluating me and give me a low contribution mark; even though I complete all my parts of the project and attend all meeting.

I’ll be creating a file that contains evidence of all my work completed just in case they decide to pull this shit.

But still I want to ask you guys: 1. should I bring this seemingly personal conflict within the group to the teachers attention? or 2. Should I just build up evidence of my case and use it when they try and pull shit on me.
