I think a line like this would work perfectly: "Every time you wear/look at this, it'll remind you of the day you met me." Or, something like that. Thanks for the tip OP.

No woman wears things given to her by people she hates, so there's little risk that it'll be something an ex gave her.

Friend of mine has a few items given to her by exes.. She even has a collection of engagement rings built up as well and wears them quite regularly..

Mind you, she doesn't "hate" her exes.

This really cute paramedic guy used this on me at work today. He asked me about my key blade necklace (kingdom hearts, anyone?), and he and I spent a few minutes reminiscing about how much we loved the game series... Made my day.

Quick Kino Story:

I went to dinner with my friend, his GF, and her friend.

Fast Forward: Dinner was going swell and I wanted to up the kino so I played the guess a number 1-10 and I will get it within two turns.

During this exercise I hold the girls hand and gently brush my fingers on her inner wrist and out to her finger tips.

I usually guess the number the first time, and I only do this trick on "normal" looking girls.

Tip: The number is usually 3 or 7, make sure you never tell them how you guessed it.

Yeah, I love when girls are wearing furs. I always go up and ask if I can pet em.

Not really kino cause I'm usually just touching a jacket or a scarf, but you can always escalate after, it's a great opener. "Hey can I pet you".

Honestly, I would be really annoyed by a guy who asked me that, and then proceded to 'help me' make one up. It seems obvious and thinly veiled.
