In my 30's, still trying to peak.

Doesn't matter, learn from this sub and continue to learn as we all do regardless of skill. I was a virgin all thru high school and college, some say I missed out on so much by not being good with women and having low confidence. Fact is maybe they're right maybe they're not, at the end of the day I'm just happy I learned at all.
Being such a late bloomer I learned so much thru my failures, I suffered a lot and as a result i came out better. I can now out game all my friends who were getting laid years and years before I was. Fact is it doesn't matter when you peak, what matters is being lucky enough to one day peak because there are many that go a lifetime without ever doing so.
Also it's not peaking, you don't peak you continue to get better each day, because even the best seducer has more to learn. There is no right time there is only now

I've been thinking recently that males tend to have a decade in which they seem to do their best generally in terms of appearance and getting women.
Based on what scientific studies?
If you're going to say it's just what you think you've observed, then let's stop right there and acknowledge that personal anecdotes are not solid ground for a theory.
Some guys seem to peak in high school, others are in their 30s before they get their full confidence, work out their 'look' and things fall into place.
Doesn't matter for shit. They aren't you.
How about you focus on having was much fun as you want, instead of trying to figure out how to limit yourself by coming up with bullshit age limits?
When you're on your deathbed, you can worry about what decade you peaked, if that even applies.
This makes me wonder, do you think longer term outcomes are better for a guy that seems to peak in his 20s, or his 30s?
What the hell does this even mean?
Life doesn't fit into some bullshit box like this. I have a buddy who over 50. Doesn't ever want to settle down. Still dates women in their late 20s and 30s. Has a great time with life.
And if he were thinking the same nonsense you're trying to get people to agree with here, he'd be miserable.
Lucky for him, he isn't buying into this sort of nonsensical, unhelpful crap.
Thinking about peaks that haven't arrived yet, is a waste of time.

Did this sub become a scientific journal overnight? It was just an idea, like 99% of posts on here that have no basis in social psychology.

I'm basically asking you to look for the evidence of this limiting idea you're trying to find justification to believe.
It was just an idea,
No. Not just an idea. It is a limiting belief that serves little purpose I can see except to define a limit.
And I can't see why you'd want to bother making this sort of a philosophical time bomb for yourself. If you want to have the goal of having something like a family or whatever by a certain age, then fine.
But choosing to start thinking that a man has to peak in their 20s or 30s.... Well, already half of that idea throws you under the bus because you're in your 30s.
And what happens if shit happens and you reach the end of your 30s still single and/or not wanting to settle down? Heaven forbid, but you can't see the future. What then? You start giving up?
like 99% of posts on here that have no basis in social psychology.
There you go with another statistic with no particular basis in fact.
I'm not quite sure why you'd fight to hold onto something sort of needless limiting belief.

Fair points. I hadn't realised it came across as limiting. The idea of a peak is just that though, I guess.

It just makes me sad to think of you potentially setting yourself up to have a bad time later.
How many guys in here do things like imagine that their single lives end after college or that party time is only in college? (Hint: it's a lot.) That belief isn't a threat when they're in middle school or high school.
But then the closer they get to their senior year in college, the more pressure it puts on them, and their decision making suffers for it. Their fun and enjoyment of life suffers for it.
There are regular posts in here all the time about people who think that their hope of enjoying a healthy dating life is OVER because they're:
Almost out of high school.
Almost finished with their undergrad work in college.
Over thirty.
Over -insert arbitrary age here-
Just consider what you are willingly doing to yourself here. And what you contributed to doing to others here. I don't want to see people put themselves through unnecessary complications and pain like that.
