Female friend saying I am fun to be with, do girls spread good stuff like this?

I was going out, asked a female friend if she wants to come along. She says yes and says how she loves walking with me because I'm fun to be with. Just wondering if she tells her friends how fun I am? Because most of her friends get excited whenever I text her because I usually text her some funny stuff. (She told me that). She's also told her family about me too. Is this how preselection works - female friends spread your positive traits to others??
